The Scarred Shirt is cut from pure eucalyptus cotton and built around the idea of a wound that has closed, but never disappeared. A curved placket pulls across the body like a scar, surrounded by controlled ruching that distorts the otherwise clean surface of the shirt. Fine string details trail from the construction like exposed threads, while the deliberately over-length sleeves fall far beyond the hands, exaggerating the body and giving the piece its unsettling, dramatic proportion
